School Supply Collection

It's that time of year again: school will be beginning again soon. Trinity parishioners are being asked to please donate supplies for those children who will be starting off without what they need to do their school work. You may drop off your contributions in a box in the vestibule.

Especially appreciated are backpacks (either new or in good used condition.) Crayons, loose-leaf notebooks, binders/folders, markers, highlighters, rulers, pens, pencils, erasers, glue, dictionaries, book covers and paper are always welcome.

Lets continue to act on our commitment to affirm and promote economic and social justice for those who have the least power and possessions among us.

Ellyn Siftar named Director of Religious Education at Trinity

I am delighted to announce to the parish that Ellyn Siftar has agreed to serve as our next Director of Religious Education, taking up the position that Claire Horning will be leaving this summer.

Ellyn, will be working for the rest of the summer to recruit teachers for the Sunday School and Youth programs in the fall, and working with the clergy and other staff folks to fully integrate the youth and children of the parish into our community life.

I'll be asking Ellyn to write up a short note introducing herself and talking about some of the plans for the fall. Hopefully you'll see that note here before not too long.
